The Ig Nobel prize for economics went to Lichtenstein's Karl Schwarzler, chief executive of Xnet, which proposes to rent all the hotels, restaurants, meeting places and sports facilities in all 62 square miles of the country for conventions, weddings, bar mitzvahs and other events.
