It isnt an issue of city hall bs food trucks and by extension foodies as much as it is an issue of food trucks vs brick and mortar stores and their bias, after all there is a reason why the city for so long has only let fast food/classic-street faire to be vended on the streets and that is because it maintains the property value, thereby taxable source, of having a retail space.
