I mean, what if SSDs are .10/GB but at the same time HD storage is, say, .50/TB by that time, and bandwidth and other factors are such that typical media storage requirements have us buying those 500TB drives?I am just theorizing here, of course... maybe physics just will not let us build 500TB drives in a reasonable form factor (just like we can not get 20GHz processors so we have had to go multi-core),
