things that i have read say that you can add fruit on the OWL step. from my carb counter book by ATKINS...OWL acceptable foods:buts, seeds and nut buttersberries and other fruits (all frozen or fresh without sugar) are acceptable, as are cherries and cantaloupe, crenshaw and honeydew melon, but not watermelonand the rest is obvious for someone on atkins... i have actually had watermelon bc i misre
