My guess is that while, yes, stress and lack of sleep (i have not gotten enough sleep in the last 3 weeks) BUT ALSO stress in anyone tends to create muscle tension, especially the upper back and NECK...which pulls on the spine...which PUTS PRESSURE ON YOUR NERVE...which I am pretty sure affects or at least contributes to EYE TWITCHING. I am not a doctor though...it may be a combination of factors.
