To be a lawyer, and to think like a lawyer, is to recognize that the struggle to defeat injustice never ends; that each of us is a part of a time-honored tradition; and that law, in its ultimate sense, is not a compilation of concepts, but a creative activity which calls upon the very best we have to offer.
