  • I am always disheartened to hear about (usually) big city kids who have no idea where meat in the store comes from and who have never seen a horse, a cow, or even a chicken in real life. (These type of stories usually come up whenever places like Riverdale Farm or the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto make the news.) As long as animals are a part of our lives they deserve to be treated properly.
