Geographically bounded regions can be identified by simply specifying a certain predefined geographic region (e.g., Boston, Mass.) or the region can be defined using existing geographic techniques, including specifying longitude/latitude/altitude, specifying a point and a radius or other known methods of defining a bounded geographic region.
