  • I do not think the power supply can heat up the CPU in any sense, but certainly not in the direct way that you seem to be thinking about - the power supply takes case air in, heats it up, and blows it outside where it can not effect the CPU. Almost all power supplies blow hot air, in part because the air is already heated by the CPU and other parts before it ever gets to the supply - it should not be
