(1) Upon the filing of a summons and petition, and service upon the primary respondent, the guardian, and other parties set forth in Section 62-5-303(2)(d), the ward or any person interested in his welfare may file a summons and petition for the removal of a guardian and, if necessary, appointment of a successor guardian.
