  • it is a matter of semantics - Parc had alot of computers networked together (which was very rare) and then they connected it to the ARPANET so it can be argued the ARPANET actually connected TO the Ethernet which was (I am led to believe) quite a big network at the time relative to the ARPANET - it is mostly semantics, the Internet is a 'Idea' it is not one thing, it is really everything all connected
