A grant from the Edgerton Foundation gave ATC an extra week of rehearsal for the play; other funding and some help from Ten Chimneys made it possible for the company to begin its work here, watching film of the real-life performers, working on the script and soaking in the atmosphere of a home where the Lunts played and worked with such luminaries as Noel Coward, Laurence Olivier and Katharine Hep
