Accordingly, on direct-examination, Agent Nolan phrased his testimony in terms of whether a conversation was narcotics-related, rather than specifying whether it was heroin-related or cocaine-related, except in those cases in which intrinsic evidence, such as prices mentioned by the conversants, established the topic of conversation to be heroin.
