When this condition causes symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness or fatigue, aortic stenosis can be treated by either traditional valve surgery, minimally invasive valve surgery (through a two-inch incision), and percutaneous aortic valve replacement (requiring no incision; done through groin access similar to a heart cath procedure).
