  • In 1950, he was offered a position at The DeWald Roofing Company in East Syracuse and in 1963 took over as the president and owner of the company until 1977 when he purchased The Dolphin Marina in Little Torch Key, FL. John ran the marina until 1984 when he retired to Fayetteville, NY. In retirement John loved golfing, oil painting, woodworking, fishing, and especially being with his family.
