  • On second thought I do recall a reporter (WSJ I believe) turning a story of heroism when a VBIED struck a COP in Tarmiyah and the resulting battle into an example of how the war is nothing but a big pile of suck (obviously I am paraphrasing), ignoring the fact that a bunch of Soldiers from 2-8 CAV fought their asses off.
