While the United States and allies such as Japan, Germany and the UK will benefit, countries such as Russia - a significant exporter of natural gas to continental Europe -and countries such as Iran and Venezuela, which are not exporting LNG but have the potential to do so, will be negatively impacted, said Peter Robertson, independent senior advisor to Deloitte LLP's oil and gas group.
